Mail Art Swan Song

I gave it my best shot but I've been away from Mail Art for too long and just can't get back into the habit. I will be closing this blog as of January 1st, 2019. For my final project I would like to make another Postal Art dress with Ryosuke Cohen's Brain Cells. This time I would like it to be folded paper in an origami style, a sort of salute to Japan and Ryosuke. And that means I will need many Brain Cell donations from you my friends. Please mail me any that you are willing to share.
I will be mailing a thank you to every donor and eventually photo documentation of the finished dress to everyone.
If you want to see other work that I'm doing, www.refluxus.blogspot.com will still be open.
  Merry Christmas, Happy New Year,

Ho-ho-ho Merry Christmas

Yes, I have been naughty and very slack with my Mail Art.
But I am alive and well and working hard at finishing projects that devour all of my time.
The editing has been done for my Sci-Fi trilogy and now I must complete the accompanying illustrations. Once the book is printed I plan to return to the grand world of Mail Exchange.

If you are on social media please join me on Facebook and Instagram.

Herman Kamphuis, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Well, know I know at least one person reads this blog. Herman emailed me his copies of the tea-stained collages. Bravo!

Saturday, January 7, 2017

Sorry about that!

While sitting comfortably in my favourite chair  drinking a mug of tea, I like to have a good in-depth read of my mail before I scan it. Unfortunately the tea tipped and: a greeting card from Herkalux, a black and white booklet from someone named Tony, a letter from my cousin Val, and all my loose notes and to-do list got dunked. I will be more careful from now on.
